Measuring Standover Height |
The Standover Height is the distance from the ground to the top of the top tube. Women’s style step-through frames must
be estimated to make different makes and models comparable. Estimate the location of a horizontal top tube on a women’s frame. There is also some argument about how to measure a sloping top tube on a
men’s bike. One school of thought suggests
that you measure to the point on the top tube where one is likely to be located
when standing over the top tube. Enter the Standover Height of your bike if you want it to come up in a user search.
