The 1939 Cycle Truck definitely has the extra support tube connecting the weld between the head tube and the top tube to the middle tube. The extra support tube was on the Cycle Truck at least through 1946. This disappeared on later models (possible as early as 1947), but the earliest I could find without the support tube was a 1950. According to the owner of this bike, "There are also other differences like the chainguard, the way the support stand is attached to the fork, and in the way the rear axle is attached (with tensioners.)" Probably from 1941 to 1945. The original color was probably close to the chainguard as the Cycle Truck was never offered in green.
